Grafton Hunt Supporters Association (GHSA)
Grafton Hunt Supporters Association (GHSA)
The GHSA held its inaugural meeting in August 1954. It is an association of hunt supporters, many of whom choose to follow the hunt by car or on foot. There is a £25 season's membership fee and a £2 daily cap. This is a cheap and sociable way to be involved with the activities of the hunt, so come out one day and join us!
The GHSA organises various social events and money-raisers such as a champagne breakfast, a series clay shoots, a social weekend, a quiz night and try to put on one main event per year.
They also run a tumblers club for any mounted riders who have a fall whilst out hunting and a 200-club drawn each month from October through to March, which gives you to an opportunity to win money each month with a grand draw of £1,000 in the Christmas draw.
Help with the organising or running of these is very welcome!
Money raised by the GHSA goes mainly towards special requirements of the Grafton Hunt, such as a new horsebox, horse-walker, new horses, or quad bike. Sometimes donations are also made towards relevant good causes such as the local Air Ambulance.
GHSA have several products for sale including ties, polo shirts, gin in different flavours & much more, please have a look at our On-line shop or please email below to make a purchase.
The GHSA committee is elected annually at their AGM in January.
