The Grafton Hunt website has been constructed with a number of objectives in mind. Our intention is to regularly update the site not only with 'essential information' but also with items, articles and photographs of general interest to all who support and enjoy hunting and the rural way of life.

It is to enable our many members, subscribers, landowners, farmers and supporters with access to the internet, to keep themselves informed of the Hunt's activities both on and off the hunting field. To this end we have separate sections where we have published the current meet card (click here) and also a list of forthcoming events (click here).

The historical background is provided so that those who have an interest in and support the Grafton Hunt today, can appreciate the long and eventful history of the Hunt since the first mention of the Duke of Grafton's hounds in 1735, together with mention of previous prominent Masters and Huntsmen.
The Grafton Hunt extends a particularly warm welcome to those who do not currently hunt, either mounted, by car, bicycle or on foot, but would like the opportunity 'to try it and see'. As a potential 'newcomer' you will want to know more about the 'Newcomers Scheme' operated by the Hunt. This scheme will help to make your introduction to hunting both enjoyable and reassuring. To go directly to the 'Newcomers' section click here.
