Horse to loan: Anyone looking for a horse to hunt for the coming season?  17 hand bay gelding, man or woman's ride, very genuine and has hunted with the Grafton on and off for several seasons.  I don't have the time to get him fit and do him justice. 14.2 New Forest pony for loan. 6 YO Iron grey gelding. Done PC inc rallies and camp x 2. Fabulous jump, won and placed show classes. Needs competent, strong-willed rider, preferably a lightweight adult, a previous owner was a novice and let him get the upper hand. Now working well on the flat and over jumps. Never lights up. Hacks out alone or in company. Bold cross country and careful over show jumps. Must go to competent (pref hunting) and experenced loan home. Horses for Heroes - 10 July 2010.  Having had my leg broken on Boxing Day, and still convalescing, I now have an inkling of what it must be like to loose a limb permanently. When I was laid up, I had several dreams in which I imagined I was walking. It must be awful to go through that knowing that you'll never get your leg back. I reckon by July Molly and I will be in adequate shape to ride a few miles (we'd better be, as by then cubbing will be only two months away!), so I've entered the Horses for Heroes ride. This raises money for Help for Heroes.
